April 24, 2019 from 9:00am to 4:00pm

Presented by: Anatum GeoMobile Solutions

Navigating the New Esri Collector, Survey123, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online for High-Accuracy GNSS Data Collection

Description:

This training workshop explores the growing trend of using smartphones and tablets in the field as high-accuracy GNSS/GIS data collection devices (BYOD – Bring Your Own Device). Carrying a specialized “GPS handheld” is no longer necessary to collect high-accuracy, feature-rich data.

The workshop dives into the new workflows from Esri that support high-accuracy GNSS receivers on iOS, Android and Windows devices. This includes Collector, Collector Classic, the newly-released high-accuracy Survey123 as well as ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online software as it relates to Collector and Survey123. The workshop is designed for users who are new to Esri field data collection workflows and those who are interested in transitioning away from legacy “GPS handheld” workflows.

Highlights:

  • Create Collector layers with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
  • Create Survey123 forms using Survey123 Connect and ArcGIS Online Builder.
  • Working with elevations in Esri field apps (yes, survey-grade elevations are possible!).
  • Hands-on outdoor field session!
  • Leverage the power of ArcGIS Pro with Esri field apps.
  • Use ArcGIS Online to create real-time dashboards.
  • Learn how to navigate your maps/apps in ArcGIS Online.
  • Learn how to share your GNSS data/maps in the Esri environment.
  • Learn about how GNSS is changing more now than in the past 15 years.
